Ƒiͥℝnͣwͫสld Ok, this is the very best ambient album for me this year. whole worlds are built in the head and rebuilt with a gentle hand, little jewels are hidden everywhere. Rarely that an album has touched me so much and I didn't even know the musician before. grandiose. artwork too Favorite track: amètrine.

m27frogy The best way I have to describe this album are those half-remembered dreams that sometimes pull on you after waking up. They weren't truly happy and were even distressing at times, but you nonetheless feel a yearning to experience them that you can't quite explain. Perhaps it is a meal that is appetizing without a strong flavor or the strange peace that comes with active motion. Regardless, a uniquely cerebral production in the same unique style of Toàn's other work.

"It's a huge pleasure to present for the first time in the catalog the talented French composer Toàn.
His third official album, Phonolite, is a little gem of eleven tracks and more than one hour of ambient and electroacoustic music.
There is something special in Toàn's sound and his capacity to create, with a wide range of acoustic and electronic instruments, a unique world of colors and shades. His sonic paintings are visual collages of microsounds perfectly arranged and chiselled in a photography of the early twentieth century.
The name Phonolite comes from the Ancient Greek meaning "sounding stone" due to the metallic sound it produces if an unfractured plate is hit. Minerals and stones are therefore the concept of this outstanding album, a meditative piece of art that closes the trilogy after Histos Lusis and Volta No Vento.
Please be captivated by the frail elegance of Phonolite."

"How Not To Disappear (Completely)" by Pepo Galán is a incredibly relaxing, atmospheric, melancholic, and peaceful ambient music. Some of the best ambient can be found on Rohs! records and it's divisions, and this is another example to that claim. The track "Growing Seed" is my personal favorite by everything is just flawless. This reminds me of daydreams I've had over many summer nights, longing for a special moment that always on the horizon. Beautiful stuff! Visual Complexity
